The ECM Mechanika IV espresso machine was born with the desire to push the boundaries of home espresso machines. With a stainless steel heat exchange boiler, a large drip tray, an insulated steam wand and an exceptional design, the Mechanika IV gives you the freedom and power to brew unmatched espresso right in the comfort of your kitchen. Built to deliver, and impress, the Mechanika IV challenges even the top commercial espresso machines.
Features:
Heat Exchange Boiler - A convenient features that allows the user to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously. A time saving, convenient feature.
Copper Plumbing - ECM machine, the Mechanika is fitted with copper water tubing as opposed to teflon or other plastics which severely extend the life of your espresso machine.
Monitored Reservoir - Mechanika IV's water reservoir holds an ample 3 liters of water and is fitted with a sensor that shuts off the machine at low volume to keep the machine from running dry. This means the machine's micro sensor has detected a low water level in it's reservoir and needs filling.
Insulated Steam and Hot Water Wands - To help prevent accidental burns, both the steam and hot water wands have been insulated to keep them from getting too hot too quickly. The steam wand sports a two-hole tip, ideal for frothing milk for lattes and cappuccinos. The hot water wand can dispense water for tea, cocoa, Americanos, and more.
Balanced Portafilters - One of the first things you'll notice about the portafilters are how balanced they feel in your hand. The weighted end offsets the weight of the basket, keeping you from having to overcompensate with your wrist. On par with commercial grade machines, the Mechanika’s portafilters are made of chrome-plated brass for increased temperature stability.

Large Drip Tray - An often overlooked feature in home espresso machines, the drip tray on the ECM Mechanika IV is large. What this means for you is less emptying and cleaning.
Rotary Pump - The ECM Mechanika IV espresso machine contain commercial grade rotary pumps. These pumps provide higher levels of consistency and operate at a much quieter noise level.
