If you want more control over your espresso, or if you just want something hot and delicious with no hassle (and at a low cost), the ECM Controvento is the best espresso machine for you. With the addition of PID, the ECM Controvento addresses temperature stability allowing the user to manually adjust the boiler temperature - creating a cup of coffee personalized. Its timeless, simple design doesn’t add extra frills or automation to the espresso process. It’s semi automatic, meaning it will maintain water pressure and temperature, but leaves the rest to you.
Features:
Insulated Copper Boiler - Made from the finest materials and insulated to keep it quiet, the ECM Controvento espresso machine is as quiet as it gets. In addition, the insulated boiler increases thermal stability. With a 2 liter capacity, the boiler of the Controvento will help you create consistent, warm espresso all day long.
Dual Boilers - The Controvento features dual heavy duty, insulated copper boilers. Brew and steam simultaneously with increased efficiency and zero loss of pressure with a Controvento. Insulation ensures the noise level will be kept to a minimum.
Twice the boilers = twice the consistency
Commercial ECM Portafilter - Included is a heavy-duty commercial portafilter. Complete with both single and double baskets, the portafilter is essential to making quality espresso.
PID Temperature Control - Control the boiler's temperature to your preferences with one touch on the Controvento. PID allows the user to manually control the boiler's temperature, a vital part of creating quality espresso. Without a PID controller you would have to physically take the machine apart to change temperature settings.
Silent Commercial Rotary Pump - Commercial grade allowing users to fine tune pressure for a more customized cup with the additional benefit of quietness. Compared to a vibratory pump, a rotary pump is much, much quieter.
Programmable Dosing Volume - The programmable volumetric dosing feature allows you to program single & double shot buttons to dispense your desired amount of espresso. Simply program your desired quantities, push a button and go.

Plumbable - Because of the rotary pump, aside from the water tank, the ECM Controvento can be plumbed directly to your water line. Should you do this we highly recommend getting a filter to go along with it.
Gorgeous Stainless Steel Construction - ECM does many things well. Perhaps the most noticeable is the simplistic style of their machines. Draped in stainless steel, an ECM Espresso Machine will instantly pop on your kitchen counters or coffee bar. Also with a LED illuminated Lucite back plate.
Integrated Cup Rail - ECM got rid of those cheap, plastic cup rails and replaced them with an integrated stainless steel rail. Better quality and much, much better looking.
