The Vario is a compact, commercial-grade espresso grinder from Baratza. Featuring 54mm ceramic flat burrs, an LED display, electronic dosing and precision grind adjustment with 230 settings the Vario is a perfect for for homes grinding for all types of coffee.
Features:
54mm Ceramic Flat Burrs - Ceramic flat burrs translate to a longer lifespan as they stay sharper for longer with the added benefit of keeping the coffee at cooler temperatures by reducing the amount of heat transferred from the burrs to coffee grounds. The alternative, steel burrs, have a shorter lifespan. Coffee Grinder is accurate and fast in performance and the fact that the burrs remain sharp twice as long as the best steel burrs is a huge plus.
230 Grinding Adjustments - With dual cam grinder adjustment you can easily fine tune your grind. With more than 230 possible levels, the Vario is one of the most versatile grinders in its price range. The Vario offers macro and micro adjust for fine tuning with ease. The macro adjust moves from espresso to press pot in 10 distinct and repeatable settings. A secondary micro adjust arm further divides each of the 10 macro steps into 20 distinct settings. These steps enable you to dial in the exact grind for the perfect shot.
Digital Control Panel - The front mounted control panel with LED display is easy and intuitive. Three programmable buttons allow for grind time setting within 0.1 second (about 0.2 gram). Simply press the START button and the Vario automatically delivers precise dosing.
